Dr. Lynnette SinclairSmith, a fear-free certified practitioner was raised in Calgary and has always had a love for all animals. She started as a receptionist at the Westhills Veterinary Clinic, then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, with Great Distinction, in 2004.
After graduating, Lynnette spent the first two years working as a small animal emergency veterinarian, then returned to the Westhills Veterinary Clinic in 2006 as an associate veterinarian. She has a passion for internal medicine and cherishes the time she spends with her clients and patients, striving to provide the best care possible.
Lynnette has most recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a co-owner of the practice in October 2016.
When not putting in long hours at the practice, she enjoys spending time travelling with her family (usually in the hot sun), paddle boarding, playing the piano, and absolutely adores her fur family (Motz, Chips and Chowder).

A proud, born and raised Calgarian, Dr. Suzanne Adams-Hird; a fear-free certified practitioner, attended the University of Calgary, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Zoology. She then went on to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, with Great Distinction, in 1992.
Working part-time at various clinics across Calgary and Canmore, Suzanne spent rich years raising her busy family, while never losing her interest, desire or skills in caring for creatures great and small.
In 2001, Suzanne joined the Westhills Veterinary Clinic, providing locum services and appreciating the diverse and interesting clients and patients the clinic enjoys. She proudly became co-owner of the practice in October of 2016, fulfilling a longtime goal.
In addition to her time at the clinic, Suzanne is a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, mentoring the next generation of animal care professionals. Suzanne’s areas of keen interest lie in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her pets (Murphy, Jack and Jill), travelling, photography and scrapbooking.

Dr. Hayley Robbins, a fear-free certified practitioner, started volunteering at the Westhills Veterinary Clinic during her first year of veterinary school and then joined the practice as a full-time veterinarian in the summer of 2017. She graduated from the University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine program with distinction. During her studies she gained experience in various fields of veterinary medicine, including small animal general practice, small animal emergency medicine and veterinary research.
Hayley grew up in Calgary and is very happy to be practicing in her hometown. When she is not at the clinic (which is rare!), she really enjoys cooking and even did a cooking class in Italy. She loves to spend time with her family and her family dog, Frisbee, who is an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix. Hayley loves all aspects of small animal veterinary practice and is very excited to be part of the Westhills veterinary team.

Returning to her hometown of Calgary, Dr. Teresa McAlpine is excited to be joining the Westhills team. A fear-free certified practitioner, Teresa graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine with distinction in the spring of 2022. Her passion for caring for animals has been an integral part of her life for as long as she can remember. Throughout her undergrad, she worked and volunteered in a variety of positions, including the Westhills Veterinary Clinic.
When she is not at the clinic, Teresa can be found at home spending time with her cat Theo, and often a foster animal or two. An active lifestyle has always been a priority for her, enjoying all sports but especially volleyball and ringette. A friendly competition of beach volleyball is one of the ways she loves to connect with her family and friends, in addition to attending concerts or spending time at the lake. Travelling is also a passion of Teresa’s, and she looks forward to actively exploring more of the world.
Joining the Westhills team is an amazing opportunity for Teresa to continue to make a difference in the lives of her patients, and she is excited to be practicing all areas of small animal veterinary medicine.

Nicole, a fear-free certified RVT, graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College in November 2011. She joined our team when she moved from Moose Jaw to Calgary in 2013 and has been working here ever since.
Raised in Calgary, Tam, a fear-free certified RVT, started working part time as a receptionist at the Westhills Veterinary Clinic in 2001. During that time, she also graduated with a BSc (Chemistry) and BEd from the University of Calgary. After spending time as a High School Science teacher, she realized her passion was in veterinary medicine. She returned to school (Olds College) and obtained her Animal Health Diploma (with distinction) in 2010. Although she enjoys all aspects of her job, her special interests are dentistry and surgery.
Her favourite things about the clinic are the interesting cases seen daily, the great relationships developed with patients and the fun team she gets to work with.
A fun fact about Tam is that she’s an avid scuba diver with her Dive-master certification. She’s dove the Great Barrier Reef, Red Sea, Caribbean and Mexico. She even participated in a shark feeding! She loves adventure and has skydived and backpacked through Europe.
When not at work, Tam enjoys camping with her family, and competing in flyball with Sydney, her Jack Russell Terrier and Dash, her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Charlene works as a fear-free certified registered veterinary technologist for Westhills Veterinary Clinic. She was raised in Calgary. Charlene lives with her husband, two daughters and their cat named Sampson. Charlene has worked at the clinic since 2003 and graduated from the animal health technology program at Olds College in 2007.
She loves working with all the staff at the clinic and enjoys the challenges each day brings. Her interests lie in feline medicine, dentistry, and nutrition. In her spare time she likes to go camping and spend time doing activities with her children.

Sara, a fear-free certified technician assistant, recently joined the Westhills team, and is very excited to grow within the clinic. She has always had a passion for animals, and has worked with them her entire life, from big to small.

Kristin has been working at Westhills Veterinary Clinic since 2010, and has been working in the veterinary industry for over 20 years. She loves all animals, and has a special fondness for cats.
You will find Kristin’s smiling face at the front of the clinic on Saturdays.
Kristin’s favourite part of working at the clinic is being able to see and get to know all the wonderful pets and clients; while providing compassion and knowledgeable service (also kitten and puppy snuggles are definitely a perk).
Kristin loves travelling, and her favourite place to vacation is Maui. She tries to visit family there at least ever other year.
Kristin is married to her amazing husband, Jordan, they have two young boys who are 3 years and 16 months old and of course their three important fur babies;
Maui, Tipsy and Hopson.
